Cathleen was transplanted from Atlanta by way of Charleston to Amelia Island in 2013.

She spent time in Savannah as well, where she earned her BFA in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Then it was off to Charleston, where she freelanced in branding and worked in hospitality, most notably at Magnolias Uptown Down South. She definitely cut her teeth in restaurants.

After 13 years in Charleston, she moved back home to Atlanta to attend the Portfolio Center for design. Then she took a mini vacation to Amelia Island.

She moved there shortly after. This quaint island has been the place of her very first home purchase. She has lived beachfront, mid island, and off island. All had their unique and special, desirable qualities.

She has always been an east coaster and will remain so.

She loves to play guitar.

She loves to walk everywhere she can without a destination, and this island affords that, plus the chance to see something new each and every time.

She loves her two kids, who are smarter than her already, and she loves this island.

She's been here long enough to know that they're growing together.
