The OG of Fernandina Beach. Old Town is the original settlement of Fernandina Beach with a rich and colorful story. Old Town remains unchanged since the Spanish platted it in 1811 under the “Laws of Indies” Spanish settlement pattern. This approach called for plazas surrounded by Churches, Meeting Houses, Schools, and homes. The “neighborhood” has 23 blocks and approximately 146 homesites. Old Town is on the National Register of Historic Places
