DUNE HAVEN

2674 Robert Oliver Avenue

The last brand-new home in this seaside neighborhood — and it’s
just a flip-flop stroll to the beach!

Tucked behind a towering sand dune ridge. Picture it — a canopy of
live oaks dripping with Spanish moss, magnolias and palms swaying in the
breeze, and a dramatic driveway that lets you know right away this home is
anything but ordinary. One of a kind home plan by local architect, John Dodd.

This one-level retreat was designed for easy island living.
Inside, soaring 15-foot vaulted ceilings and stacking sliding doors open
wide to a dreamy oversized screened porch—designed for breezy dinners or
afternoon naps in a hammock. The airy, open layout flows from the living room
to the dining space and kitchen, where a big island and walk-in pantry make
entertaining a joy.

The home is built in an L-shape around a future plunge pool, or
you can simply enjoy the carefree option of the community pool just up the
street. A handy laundry/sand room keeps the beach where it belongs, and
a special nook offers space for a coffee bar, wine station, or cozy desk setup.

No carpet here — just white oak engineered wood flooring and tile
underfoot, Anderson casement windows for light and air, and thoughtful
touches throughout.

Egan’s Landing residents enjoy private streets, a community pool, and
a walkway straight to Beach Access #29 at S. Casino
.

At the top of the lane, you’ll find the community pool, ready for a dip after a morning walk and complete with restrooms, a ping-pong table, and even a “little library” right outside the gate for swapping your latest beach read.

You’ll pass Simmon’s Park and the pretty lake at Lakeside along the way, and if you keep going, a boardwalk over the water rewards you with breathtaking sunset views.

Closer to home, Egan’s Landing’s private roads, friendly faces, and the sound of the surf nearby… that’s life at Egan’s Landing.

How did this home become the last new home to be built in Egan’s Landing?

History-Egan’s Landing 2: Approximately 76 homes were built between 1996 and 2000. The homes on the west side of the Avenue overlook the natural beauty of Egan's Creek. With the exception of 300 feet that is Amelia Woods property, everything on the east side of the street starting from this new home to the cul-de-sac was not part of the neighborhood. This property is along a large sand dune ridge. In 2006 all of the above mentioned property was excepted into Egan’s Landing as 6 lots/Egan’s Landing 2 ( exception: the Amelia Woods Property). The real estate market took a turn and there they sat until 2012/13 when Loree Siebert purchased Lot 1, and Surf Home Builder’s, Inc. ( my husband, John, president, and me, Susan, vice-president ) purchased Lots 2-5 and Block B. Block B includes this lot and the Bellow’s house directly next door. It was almost an acre in size. Through a vote, the community agreed that a lot that size was not in keeping with the neighborhood. It was split into 2 lots, one being the location of this new home for sale.

When you come by to look at the home, make sure to drive to the end of the cul-de-sac. The last 6 houses are newer. Surf Home Builders built 2504 and 2648 Robert Oliver Avenue as well as this one at 2674 Robert Oliver Avenue.
